The car had a frame on restoration in 2000 along with motor and transmission fresh up. 1970 was the last year for the B body convertibles with only 684 copies produced. After that, the B-bodies were restyled and convertibles were eliminated from the model line entirely. The only thing that was changed was the AM radio (which is still in hand along with the speaker) and a year correct AM/FM radio was installed that was electronically upgraded with MP3 hook-up.
